Bellaire Assembly has a Food Ministry that is free for families in need!
For several years, Bellaire Assembly has gathered groceries from local grocery stores, who generously donate food items to the church, and distribute large boxes of food to needy individuals and families!
Although it is a lot of work, volunteers work hard every week, gathering the groceries, separating and dividing the items, and filling boxes and boxes of food, which is distributed that same day.
We generally feed between thirty and fifty families each week!

Each Tuesday, we gather groceries at the church and separate them into boxes which are then distributed to those families and individuals who have signed up for free food.
To add your name to the list, you must come (in person) to the church on any Tuesday, between 10 am & 12 pm to fill out an application. You only have to fill out this form on the first visit; thereafter, you simply 'sign in' at the door each Tuesday.

Food distribution is generally between 12:00-2:00 p.m. Tuesdays.
However, the beginning time may vary somewhat, depending upon how much food we have on that particular day and how many Volunteers we have working on that day.

If you would like to be a Volunteer, you should arrive at the Church by 10:00 a.m. and contact Wesley Burditt, Food Ministry Coordinator. He directs all work assignments and will give you instructions on what each assignment entails. We need Volunteers to help set up tables and boxes (10:00 a.m.), sort and mark grocery items, assist with the food distribution and, of course, to help clean up and put away the tables.
We are usually finished at about 2 p.m.
Volunteers have first priority when the food boxes are distributed!
